Endurance videographer
I film ultramarathons, multi-day runs and world-record attempts, from the start line to the finish.
I am Matt Stone, a UK endurance videographer and an ultra runner myself. I have been part of 7 world-record endurance challenges. I run, cycle and trek alongside the athlete to be in the action for the shot, and I direct, shoot and edit the films myself.
With Imo Boddy I filmed the Three Peaks world record: almost 700 km of running between Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 6 days 5 hours 43 minutes. The documentary has over 500,000 views on YouTube. I also filmed her run in The Speed Project, 500 km from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in 77 hours 54 minutes, living in an RV with the crew for the whole race.
For The North Face and SportsShoes I filmed Elsey Davis' 620 km Circuit of Cornwall, with daily social content and a short film.
